it's our man's day

In the car, mom asked dad.

mom : non, kalau ko kena pi kerja jauh-jauh bah kan, siapa yang ko rindu dulu?
dad : charm-charm

mom : abis tu, saya macam mana?

dad : rindu jugalah bah...

mom : LAH BAH??

dad : rindu bah, rindu sama-sama charm-charm.

mom : siapa dulu ko rindu?

dad : charm-charm, lepas tu ko.... lepas tu..... baru onton sama memex!

My dad is too cute for that.

In silence, Mom said this to me,
Do always say a prayer for this man.

When he first time saw the two blue lines appeared on the pregnancy test,
His face was freaking shocked but he just remaining cool.
He then hugged mommy and kissed her.
Mommy shed tears, *well..well.. knowing this lady*
knowing that the unconditional love from the man that she loved too.

He was the one who takes care of mommy,
Her food, her needs, her gyne's appointments,
for her almost 10 months pre-motherhood journey, he was there for her.

He was the one who is really concerned about mom's health.
Even when mom is admitted into hospital for a week due to muscles pain,
his worries-ness are more than mom who was actually in real pain.

He is mom's man.
He is my man.
He is OUR man.
We loves you Mr Melvin.

Year of 2010, dad started his new venture,
by celebrating father's day.
To him, nothing is really special about that as he is a father, a daddy at all time :-)
But to a little me, it's meant a lot.
Mom did not plan anything special though.

We went to church for Sunday mass,
and there was a special prayers for all dads.

God-sister Luisa also came along with my god-parents.
My god-ma also did not plan anything special. hehehe
*it's not husband's day okay!*

We just wished each other, hugged and kissed *over the cheeks lah*
And never ever forget, picture taking session... I love camera!

me in action!

Bapak Joseph Masri from Jakarta!

We're then off to Chinese Cuisine in Glenmarie for brunch,
They ate and emptied all the plates, bowls...

happy dad's day to both of you!

I would like to leave this post with this prayer,
a well written prayer by Joanna Fuchs,
from the Church of Divine Mercy, Shah Alam.

little fashionista

Daddy is cool.
He is not the type that is too trendy or crazy of latest men's garment.
Mommy is simple. Also not the type that craves for latest fashions.
She could be the last person who get to know about geogio armani's design,
or at least...
or she wouldn't know them at all! hahaha

Both of them are not really fans of fashion, or followers of latest fashion...
They do shops, but not shopaholic.
They do eat, YES they're very goooooood eater hehehe.

But, something went wrong here.
They're trying to turn me to be their little fashionista.
How comeeee?
I heard mom complaining to dad.
She has very limited clothing as the rest can't fit her after giving birth.

Dad then gave her some money with the purpose for her to go shopping.. for her.
But when she arrived, she showed these to dad... *dengan bangganya*

Her office is only 15-minute walking distance from Sogo. She loveee Sogo.
She love me, bundles of love, bundles of dresses. hehehe

"Bah, sudah-sudah la tu baju charm-charm" dad said.
"hmm, banyak suda bah inda muat!" mom replied.

My parents current addiction... romper... err rompers.
Mom will buy them everywhere. She loves to see me dressed in rompers.

mind my dad's tummy muahahaha

My recent collection of rompers.

All are soooooo sweet. I loved each and everyone of them.
oh ya! Nanny @ mommy's colleague gave me this..

a bit crumple as mom just dig it out from the laundry basket

and these are from my mo'ing. Thank you mo'ing.

lovely dresses from mo'ing

oh this one... given by mom's boss... thanks uncle dr. (he is carrying a doc title!)

should keep this dress for me to wear during Christmas, mom said.
*huh, another 6 months to go*

Mom will do my laundry every alternate days.
So my laundry can accumulate up to this much. *at this age :-)*

after washed

after folded

ehem!

Is not hard being a baby?
*shook head*

hmm... the above picture was not wrongly posted.

What is in your mind?
My mommy is going to sew them?... well yes.
My mommy is going to dip her feet into tailoring?... not exactly.
A new dress for me from these fabrics?... no no no...
so?

Let's see when everything is went solid.
My Mom is too shy-shy to admit now.

tonimer baby spray

See! I've told you that I am a brave baby.
I am not scared of needles.

Just before we enter into Dr. Sanjay's clinic, I rested my head on mommy's arm, of course for an obvious reason hehehe...

hey, did I tell you that I'm a breast-feeding baby?

and I went through the normal procedures,
to record my weight, height, head diameter.

I am 8-kilo!

expanded up to 67cm

Okay. Let me show you what had happened in Dr. Sanjay's clinic.

daddy placed me here, i am flyinggg....

dad : sakit sikit sija kio... jangan nangis kio...

doc : okay, let's check on her lungs... oh she is perfectly fine!
dad : *smiles widely*

doc : she has a very strong muscles. Good girl. Her tits fine, bump ok. Her focus is VERY GOOD!
*some scenes need to be sensored hehe*

doc : would you like to stand up?
dad : okay, ONE, TWO, TH.....REE
me : *quickly stand*
doc: Her shoulder is
strength. Neck is strong.
*dad was so proud, I knew it!*

THEN...

I had two injections.
First (left thigh) : Final dose of hepatitis B, this is compulsary.
Second (right thigh) : Second dose of pneumococcal... this is an optional.

ouchhh! mommy was hiding somewhere...

so deep meh?

My parents were advise to give me an additional injection, the pneumococcal because I am placed at the nursery, this is to prevent me from getting the pneumococcus bacteria.
Pneumococcal further info, click on here.

Okay... Dr. Sanjay said my height and weight are remaining top-end.
*dad kembang hidung + senyum kambing*
he stopped smiling when Dr. Sanjay said this to them, "Her weight should be maintained now, I don't want her to be more chubby. But being more taller is fine" oppsss.... what that that mean? Do I need to cut off my food intakes, my nenen? oh noooo.... I will make sure THOSE are not going to happen.

and, Dr. Sanjay left us with his advice.
For baby age 1.5 years and below, having coughs and flu-es are normal. As long as they're not suspected of having an asthma or bronchitis, syrups should be avoided.
Babies are not recommended to have ANY SYRUPS as they will be cured by themselves.

And he recommended this.

a tonimer baby spray

It is a sea salt spray. Nose block, coughing and flu? Just spray into the nose. I liked it. At least it tastes better than those colorful syrups. This spray is safe and can be used as many times as needed.

the beauty of this thing is, the cover can be washed and re-used.
So parents, do use this for your babies. Avoid syrups. We don't like them!

I only cried for a while. A very short-while.

Had a good time cam-whoring with dad whilst mommy settled my medical bill.

We were off to Subang Parade after that. I was so delighted.
I will tell you more in my next post.
Festival of Magic.
Sakae Sushi.
I will definately tell you.
