of 6 month old, first week of curiosity

Full of curiosity. I stand well on it now.
Mom subscribed weekly newsletters from the BabyCentre,
and let see what they've said on my capabilities for this week:

This month your baby's hand-eye coordination is becoming much surer and she may really learn to put her hands to good use. She'll become an expert in raking objects towards herself - and he'll work out how to move something from one hand to the other. And once she learns that she can hold something in each hand, she'll quickly realise how much fun it is to bang them together. She'll want to practise this new skill, so if you think you can stand the noise, set aside one kitchen cupboard and fill it with baby-safe pots and pans for her to play with.
(source)

The above info are slightly outdated *chewahhh* , which I've been very experts in playing with my hands when I was 5-month old. Seriously, mom said.

By the way,
it's fun to have the feel of curiosity, as I gotta force my parents to walk with me, explore more things with me, attracts all their attention and makes their life happening to the fullest.

I note that they're tired from work,
but it was fun to play with me whattt...

CURIOSITY?
It is all about feelings,
I will laugh whenever I'm happy & delighted..

or I will just scream whenever the need rose..

else, I will just be good whenever I'm confused..

hmm... what else in life going to be?
I'm always curious wanna know.

Tomorrow I would have to meet Dr. Sanjay again,
This time is for my 6-month immunisation, the third dose of hepatitis B.
I have to be brave, omg I need dad for that as mom scared of needles.
I am not scared of needles
I am not scared of needles
I am not scared of needles!

well...will see!

the grandest love

The grandest love is countless.
And they're different than the ones that we received from our parents.
kan..kan..kan?
I have met my GREAT-grandma. It's grand.
Oh yes, she is my dad's grandma, so in my case, Moyang-lah kan?
She is already old but still strong, steady and she loveeee me.

The first sentence came out from her lips when she saw me was,
"Odoiii gia, sisit ku numbul lima"
*Translation: Oh my fifth great-grandchild"
She is just too cute for that.

She was just amazed whenever I giggled at her.
And got so excited.
"Intangai mai', noikot noh do mongiak" she said.
*Translation : Look at her, she loves to smile."
I was thinking what to call her, but she is a mind reader, she said,
"panggil mo'ing-lah kio...ngam la'itu panggil mo'ing, mimang mo'ing pun"

My dearest mo'ing and late pak o'ing have ten children.
waaa.... fabulous
*that's what totally spies always said*

I heard mom complaining to dad for having me as her only child at the moment.
Imagining her life if she has another one sooner or later.
and I hate to think when she has ten children.HEHEHE.

Mo'ing current addiction is mogingat, or in Malay version is makan sireh.
You should look at her tingaton's package.
Daun sireh, kapur,gambir,pinang & tembakau a.k.a sigup.
I don't think there are as yummy as my milky plain rice porridge.HEHEHE
If one of them goes missing the ingredient is incomplete. I witnessed her being uncomfortable when she realised her daun sireh were gone missing. And how happy she was when she found them in her bag, as if she won a jackpot.

Dad was saying that mo'ing was the one who look after him when he was a small kid,
dad and few more of his cousins.
Since all the parents were busy working,
so they left them with her.
Taking care of 10 children and after that continue the routine with her grandchild,
pheww... mo'ing was so amazing!

She had many buffalo once. Or in Kadazan it's called, kalabau.
And dad used to treat her buffaloes like camels,
He will ride them right up to the river and bathed the 'camel',
then the kalabau's body would shine. And they're happy.
Kalabau has a big round stomach and they're very heavy.
Sadly, all the kalabaus are gone now, no longer dad said.

Dad said mo'ing was slightly fierce which I don't think so.
She is soooo loving.
My dad must be very naughty then,
So please do not blame me because the blood in my veins are your gene dad!
kuang... kuang... kuang...

She almost shed tears when we bid farewell.
No worries mo'ing
I'll be a good girl as you wish,
I will not annoy my parents, or others.
And I look forward to balik kampung, and I'll see you there.
Play with you again and with your favorite doggy, si burger.

I might not understand the meaning of your love now,
But as the time flies, and as the time watches me growing up,
I would understand them better... later.

The spirit of you inspired me to be strong in my future undertakings,
Always pray for me this little baby kio.
I love you Mo'ing.

little haven

Little Charmy is dedicating this post to Aunty Nunut a.k.a Mommy Ava.

She has an extreme interest in cloth diapers and babywearing.
She just can't get enough of them.
Baby Ava has more than 40 collection of baby cloth diapers.
That's a hugeeee number my dear Aunty. *shook head*
She often shopped them online. This Aunty is extremely IT savvy HEHE.

Everything = baby's clothing, baby's accessories, soft toys, babywearings, cloth diapers...
Mom's amazed.
and it stopped mom from walking straight.

The shop was really a shopping heaven for both baby needs and unneeded.
The gravity to throw money is extremely high, because their items are cute.
No worries, as the price tags would be the best alarm to trigger you.
That's what mom said-lah.

Mommy Ava, mommy would've to bring you here someday.

my first meal

Officially, I will turn to 6 months old on 11 June.
I should have my solid food by then, but mom just can't wait I think.

I had my first meal a week before I should. *bow-with-pride*

Before feeding me, dad and mom having the she-might-like-it, she-might-not-like-it kinda perceptions. As many children refused to eat, or the parents would have to do an extraordinary skills just to make sure their children are well fed.

How about me?

first bite

not that bad. can I have another feed?

These snaps are telling you the truth.

It's a plain rice porridge. Mixed with a little of formula milk. They're just yummy.
I will never waste them. I should appreciate them, right?
Just look at my empty bowl!

Babies, you should ask your mommy make them for you. At least, once...
*geeee*

viral infection

Month of May wasn't that gooood.
I developed fever, flu and cough, dad too-worst, mom too-slightly.
We have been the loyal visitors to Alam Medic, Klinik Bandaran and SDMC.
On the day mommy wrote this post, I, this small baby was still having flu and coughs.
yadaa..yadaa..yadaa...

Do I look like a sick baby?

Daddy said my flu was getting worst, so they brought me to SDMC a.k.a Sime Darby Medical Centre.
Ahaa... I was brought here for my immunisations since I was a month old.
Dr. Sanjay Woodhull, the handsome doctor hehehe, is my pediatrician.
He is good, nice and he loves me as one of his little patients.
But on that day, he was not on duty, so I get to see Dr. Siti Mazliah, she is also good and nice.

Evening clinics at SDMC weren't as crowd as normal days, Fuhh... lucky!
Whilst waiting for my turn, I dragged dad to bring me around.

Quite empty, where are all my friends?

The on duty nurse called me, to weight me. Oh for babies, weight is very important to determine how many the medicine ml to be given.

Weighing digital machine keeps on running!

and it's stop at this figure. That's my weight!

Waiting time again. Let see what else they have around.

to figure baby's height. It's a digital wow!

with the comics on top of it!

Daddy had to carry me around. I have been very cranky at times which dad had to calm me.

Resting at the breast-feeding room, cozy place, I like!

"CHARMAINE!" was that me?
Yes that's my name being called. OMG, I'm not scared, I'm a good baby!

Dr. Siti Mazliah, I am a goooood baby! trust me.

Mommy was complaining about my flu, coughs, bla..bla..bla..

"She is having slight viral infection!"
Gosh! What was that?

According to Dr. Siti, viral infection was quite normal especially for growing babies,
The cause? Environments : parents if they're sick, infected children in nursery, weather.
Nothing to be worried about as there are medicines for this sickness.

"Doc, can I have a bite of that thing?"

Okay, dad & mom felt much better after that. I guess-lah. Because I could see a BIG smile on their faces. I got my medicines and just before we leave, mom forced dad to go somewhere called...

Mom had to force dad for this. As dad had a bad cough too.
Overall, he was fine! No H1N1. pheww...
But got to eat medicines-lorrr.

Now, mom has a total of medical bills to be claimed.
Mom's company a.k.a working place is very good, both dad and I are covered well.

THANK YOU SIME DARBY!

one day in s.a.c.c.

Last friday was public holiday (wesak day), this small baby was looking forward for jalan-jalan.
But dad was not well. He was having flu, throat pain, headache and body pain.
Kesian kan my daddy.

a sexy dad in pain!

So we stayed home quietly, watching TV whilst mommy busy with her laundry, house cleaning, cooking and all-kinda-house-stuff-routines.

Dad owe me.
BUT
He has paid-off everything! yeah that's my daddy.
Okay, another heavy post, yeahh!

Sunday morning.

Dad's fever slightly better. *Thank you Jesus*
First thing in the morning, we must go to church for Sunday mass.
I liked church, especially Church of the Divine Mercy in Shah Alam.
The church is just beautiful, although from the roadside it looked nothing more than a normal factory, but as you enter in, you'll be surprised! It's awesome and very random.
*Will post pictures of CDM soon*

Mom told me, her first meeting with dad was happened there. Okay. Thanks Mom, the rest you tell me someday-lah okay? As I have to tell my story here.

Right after the sunday mass :
DAD : Mari pigi SACC.
MOM : Buat apa gia di sana?

DAD : Jalan-jalanlah bawa charm-charm.

MOM : Bah mana-mana sajalah! *macam buring jah mami ni*
ME : SACC *apa tu ah? bulih gigit-gigit kah?*

So we did. SACC here we come.

NOT BAD
this place.

MOM : Bah, bagus jugak sini kan Non. Macam-macam ada ooo...
DAD : Tu lah ko, ko ingat KLCC, Pavilion jah ada semua ni, jangan pandang rendah gia.
MOM : ya-lah bah, ya-lah bah...

Mom is the one who is always grumpy, lapar lah Non, lapar lah...
*BTW, Non or Inon are dad's kampung name*
Then Dad took us to secret recipe, and I had a sip..errr.. few sips of this drink hehehe...
nyaman wooo....

hello, another reminder, I'm only 5-month plus okay. Not bad huh!

Dad got the point, the mall wasn't bad at all,
quite cozy, many makan places, many boutiques and..
and oh MPH! Mom loves bookstores.

Mom excitedly signed me up for the kidz club in MPH. But...

SALES GUY : Sape yang nak sign up ni?
MOM :
*Pointing at me whilst I busy biting my teether*
SALES GUY : Tak bolehlah, ini untuk budak 12 tahun ke bawah je.

*Handed the pamplet to Mom*

MOM : Anak sa ni mimang 12 tahun ke bawah bah. Inda bulih ka?

SALES GUY : You bacalah sendiri...

I could see Mom is more than upset. She tried to get help from dad, but,
"charm-charm inda bulih bah ni, untuk budak-budak 12 tahun ke bawah sija bah..."
said dad.
Oh man! Dad, I am only 5-month... that's below 12-years old right? Poor Mom!

I knew she insisted to sign me up just for the 10% membership discount for children books.
Oh ya, in MPH, the children books comes with the code of 04 in front. I note that Mommy!

Then came another sales guy. Mom quickly grabbed his attention.

MOM : Err... bang, anak sa ni boleh jadi member Kidz Club ni kan?
SALES GUY 2: Ya boleh! 12 tahun ke bawah kan?

Mom smiled naughtly at dad, and dad smiled bitterly HEHE.
God-sent.

Mom purchased 2 books of her all time childhood favorite author, Enid Blyton.

Well mom, I don't think i could read them now... out of my interest, they're black and white in colour, I want more colours mom. Blue, pink...
"Nevermind them baby, just for your collection, you can read them one day."
Okay-lah mommy.

The next place was a Baby's boutique - Anakku, waaaah! Dad loved this place.
Dad, Mom and I spent an hour inside there.
Dad generously threw his money on these...

A Walker! waaa... thank you daddy muah muahhhh!

A pair of walking socks, suits me well kan hehe..

with not much hassles, mom signed me up *geee*

Next stop was Memory Lane shop, the blue alien was the most cutest thing that I've seen,
tapi daddy bilang, "inda payahlah ni kio, nanti Onton gigit!"

Mommy saw a red pillow with phrases on it. Mom loved phrases, proverbs...

pheww, I had goooooood time, really!
Thank you dad.
Thank you mom.

We never forget the two siblings at home, so dad bought these for them HAHAHA...

We had gone back home.
Safely.
Tired.
But I couldn't sleep, my eyes were open widely,
and guess what, I loved to do my own things now, this walker thingy is really fully utilised!

Dad and Mom should be more grateful now, as I won't nag for them to carry me all the time.
Oh ya, SACC also known as Shah Alam City Centre.
whenever you're there, think of me :-)
